I love this crucible! Heats fast, handle stays cool, much easier to handle than the old, thicker clunky ones I used to use. You can change out crucibles in a flash for pouring different metals. These crucibles normally are sold with three sizes of crucible, one too small for safe pouring, one unnecessarily big, and the goldilocks size. We cut out the useless sizes and have only included the one you will actually use, the 2 1/4 inch size.
